Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Skincoach app. By downloading or using Skincoach, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Who can use Skincoach

You must be at least 18 years old to use Skincoach. By using the app you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate. Skincoach is operated by an independent individual developer (“we”, “us”, “our”).

2. Your account

You sign in using Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for keeping access to your device and account secure, and for activity that happens under your account.

3. How you may use the app

• Use Skincoach for your own personal, non-commercial skincare guidance.
• Do not misuse, reverse-engineer, copy or attempt to disrupt the app or its services.
• Do not upload content that is unlawful, or that is not your own image, without permission.

4. Guidance, not diagnosis

Skin scores, profiles, routines and chat responses are informational and personalized estimates. They are not a medical diagnosis or a substitute for professional advice. Always patch-test new products and stop use if you experience irritation or an adverse reaction.

5. Subscriptions & billing

Some features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are sold and billed through the Apple App Store and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your Apple account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your Apple account settings. Pricing, billing period and any free-trial terms are shown in the app before you purchase.

Free trials & refunds: if a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Because billing is handled by Apple, all refund requests are subject to Apple’s refund policy and are processed by Apple, not by us. You can request a refund via Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Where local consumer law (for example in the EU) grants you additional withdrawal or refund rights, those rights still apply.

6. Intellectual property

Skincoach and its content, design and trademarks are owned by us or our licensors. These terms do not grant you any rights to our branding. You retain ownership of the photos you upload.

7. Disclaimers & liability

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law — including, for consumers in the EU/UK and certain US states, your statutory rights, which remain unaffected.

8. Apple App Store terms

Skincoach is distributed through the Apple App Store, and the following apply to your use of the app on Apple devices:

• These Terms are between you and us only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
• Your license to use the app is a non-transferable license to use it on any Apple-branded device you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Usage Rules.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
• If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation regarding the app.
• Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the app, including product-liability, legal/regulatory, or consumer-protection claims.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
• You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government restricted-parties list.

9. Termination

You may stop using Skincoach and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

11. Governing law & contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence. Questions? Email support@skincoach.ink.
